Luria isabella f. gauguini Lorenz 2017. 24.5 mm., Gem-. Marquesas Islands. Special color! No black streaks in this interesting variation from this remote place. A very mature shell but still showing the characteristic lack of basal callus. Not often available.
Cypraeovula edentula sanfrancisca var. Chiapponi 1999. 19.9 mm., Gem-. S. Africa. Very rare variation from the Fish River area. Callused labrum and narrow aperture characterize this variety. Close to the nominate subspecies, very few in collections. This is the rarest shell in this auction!
