Gorgeous dark color and pattern. Great quality but does have a very shallow natural growth line on columellar side. I recently used this specimen to demonstrate the problem of perspective distortion that plagues an unfortunately large percentage of cowry images on the internet. Some less than scrupulous shell dealers use this phenomenon to extract the maximum amount of money from unsuspecting collectors who mistakingly think that the most "inflated and bulbous" specimen of whatever, is actually being accurately depicted in their otherwise very showy images. Buyers beware...
